what is the restore?
The Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity ReStore sells donated (new and used) building and home improvement materials, furniture and household items to the public.
4 goals of the restore
- Generate funds to support the construction of houses.
- Provide a source of inexpensive construction materials to the community.
- Save businesses the expense associated with scrapping surplus materials.
- Allow individuals to make a tax-deductible donation of items that are new or slightly used.

The ReStore is a building materials recycling center. It is a great place to get rid of all those building supplies left over from your last home improvement project. It can also save businesses the expense associated with scrapping surplus materials. The ReStore also accepts general household items such as blinds, sheets, ceiling fans, paint, furniture and more. It is a great place to recycle household items from your last home improvement project. The Donated items are sold to the public at low-cost prices. All proceeds benefit the Valdosta-Lowndes County Habitat for Humanity.
